Toronto Sikh Retreat

A Family Friendly Annual Retreat - Jan. 2nd to 5th, 2020

Since 2003, the Toronto Sikh retreat has been held annually at various retreat centres within the GTA.  The four-day retreat includes workshops and guest lecturers that help attendees understand themselves and the world through a Sikh perspective.  Indoor and outdoor activities are also organized to allow for networking which helps create a comfortable and open environment.

The weekend retreat provides a small opportunity to disconnect from our every day responsibilities and spend time on enhancing our spiritual growth while reconnecting with our Sikhi roots.

In 2016, recognizing the needs of our community, we are expanding to include families within our mandate.

For the very first time, TSR is now open to everyone – youth, university students, young professionals, older adults and families. Children under the age of 18 interested in attending TSR must be accompanied with an adult. We encourage families to attend the weekend retreat together so that all can learn more about Sikhi and how to live a Guru-centred life.

This retreat is smaller than others with no more than 90 individuals attending. Within this group, we aim for a balance of ages, gender, life experiences and Sikhi perspectives.
